God Save the Scene
(Verse 1)
God save the scene, a modern mainstream,
The royal family's just a social dream,
A nation divided, but still, we stand,
In the digital era, united we command.
(Chorus)
God save the scene, we're the new regime,
No kings or queens, just a pixelated dream,
We'll rise together, break the old routine,
In the chaos of now, God save the scene.
(
Verse 2)
A punk on the throne, a rebel unknown,
Social media echoes a rebellious tone,
No crown, no scepter, just a smartphone screen,
In the revolution of selfies, God save the scene.
(Chorus)
God save the scene, we're the new regime,
No kings or queens, just a pixelated dream,
We'll rise together, break the old routine,
In the chaos of now, God save the scene.
(Bridge)
No Buckingham Palace, just city streets,
Where hashtags and memes create the beats,
The anthem of progress, a virtual sheen,
In the ever-evolving now, God save the scene.
(Verse 3)
From punk to post-punk, the evolution's clear,
No God, no queen, just a digital frontier,
A DIY ethos in every teen,
In the anarchy of now, God save the scene.
(Chorus)
God save the scene, we're the new regime,
No kings or queens, just a pixelated dream,
We'll rise together, break the old routine,
In the chaos of now, God save the scene.
(
Outro)
So let the pixels reign, in the virtual domain,
No crown jewels, just a cyberpunk refrain,
God save the scene, in the internet's sheen,
In the chaos of now, let the scene be seen.

From Rubber Ducks to Stolen Valor: A 44-Year Military Journey
Fast forward 40 years, and the echoes of that peculiar song took an unexpected turn. The NCO's name resurfaced in the news, but not for the expected reasons one might assume. No, it wasn't a scandalous affair or an extraordinary career change to farming.
Instead, the headlines revealed a darker truth – stolen valour. The once-cheerful flag bearer at the local legion had adorned himself with medals he hadn't earned, a disrespectful act in the eyes of those who had served with honour.
This unexpected twist in the narrative serves as a stark reminder that people's journeys can take unpredictable paths. From rubber ducks and camaraderie to the betrayal of stolen valor, the story encapsulates the complexities of individuals and the unpredictable nature of life after the military. As we navigate the twists and turns, may we remember the importance of integrity, both in song and in the wearing of earned medals.

Highway of Despair: A Weed-Infused Encounter with a Broken-down Salesman
As I approached the stranded salesman, it became evident that he specialized in recycling crucifixes. Now, recycling is a noble endeavor, but crucifixes? That was a new one for me. His worn-out pitch about turning old crucifixes into new symbols of hope left me both perplexed and amused.
In the spirit of camaraderie, I decided to share the contents of my bag of weed with him. As we passed the joint, a peculiar bond formed between two unlikely companions on the highway of despair. Amidst the broken-down car and recycled crucifixes, we found a moment of connection, sparked by the green herb and an appreciation for life's absurdities.
Perhaps, in that fleeting encounter, we both discovered a form of salvation – his through recycling and mine through the calming haze of cannabis. Life has a funny way of throwing unexpected curveballs, and sometimes, all you need is a bag of weed to roll with the punches and find a moment of shared humanity on the highway of despair.

The Blue Llama’s Musical Interlude
The Hindu Kush strain, known for its relaxing effects, provided a momentary escape for me, a disabled person seeking solace. As the soothing effects of the strain enveloped me, I found myself immersed in the classic tune "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.
The slow build-up of the song mirrored the gradual onset of relaxation induced by the Hindu Kush. The lyrics, with their mysterious and enigmatic quality, resonated with a sense of introspection. It was as if Phil Collins was inviting listeners to dive into the depths of their emotions, much like the strain was allowing me to explore a heightened state of self-awareness.
The iconic drum solo in the song echoed a sense of anticipation and release, perfectly complementing the calming and euphoric sensations induced by the Hindu Kush. In that moment, the music and the strain converged, creating a harmonious symphony that transcended the boundaries of physical limitations.
"In the Air Tonight" became a soundtrack to introspection, a journey through the corridors of memory and emotion. It was a reminder that, like the lingering notes of a well-played song, the effects of the Hindu Kush strain offered a temporary reprieve from the challenges of disability, allowing for a more profound connection with oneself and the music that colors our lives. πΏπΆ✨ #HinduKushHarmony #PhilCollinsVibes

Alice Cooper Tribute
"I'm 18 and Army Bound"
Lines form on my face and hands
Lines form from the ups and downs
I'm in the Army now, making my stand
I'm 18, and I love it, I'm bound
I'm a man and I'm joining the fight
Gotta serve my country, with all my might
Uncle Sam's calling, and I'm on my way
I'm 18, and I'm ready for the fray
I'm 18, and the Army's my dream
Learn discipline and teamwork, be part of the team
Boot camp, barracks, and the battlefield
I'm 18, and I'm Army, I'll never yield
I'm a soldier, strong and true
Red, white, and blue, I'll defend for you
With honor and courage, I'll take my stand
I'm 18, and I'm Army bound, man!

Mental Exercise Day
In the rhythm of pandemic-induced solitude, every second Thursday marks an unusual occurrence in my routine – a designated individual paid by the government takes me for a walk. Yes, you read that correctly; I am walked, much like our loyal canine companions. In the age of Covid, where isolation intertwines with treatment-resistant mood disorders, my mental Occupational Therapist has deemed walking and phone conversations as the remedy. As I navigate this peculiar chapter of life, I eagerly await the day when the echoes of Covid wane, and our lives return to a semblance of normalcy. Until then, I continue to step forward, one walk at a time, in the company of a paid companion. πΆ♂️π³
